Dominion Release was finished about 2 hours before the promissed time.
(as a software developer) i think it depends on the time needed to upgrade the servers, test the whole hard and software, and the game core + the patched functions.
Patching should not take more then 5 hours, the rest of the time is just validating the databases, documenting, and making sure that everything is ok.

as soon as the CCP team says ok, everything fine, we will get access to the game again.

Yeah, they update the game for free and blah blah blah but really, when i pay for 30 days i want to get 30 days PLAYING time, not 28 days playing, 1 day sitting and waiting and another day lost due to daily server downtimes.

If this game wasn't so frikkin awesome, I'd vote with my feet.
